Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp (MSGE) announced today that, by overwhelming demand, Billy Joel has added a new date to his sold-out Madison Square Garden residency in New York City on October 20, 2023. Additionally, MSGE has announced that Billy Joel and Kevin Bacon will perform together at Madison Square Garden on January 13, 2023, for a special one-night-only event. The two iconic entertainers will perform a set of songs together, including "The Entertainer" and "You May Be Right." Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 22, at 10:00 AM ET.
Billy Joel's Madison Square Garden residency has been a huge success, with all shows selling out in minutes. The residency began in January 2014 and has seen Joel perform over 100 shows at the iconic venue. Joel is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 150 million records sold worldwide. He has won six Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Legend Award in 1990. Joel was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
