The highly anticipated second season of HBO's hit fantasy series, House of the Dragon, will premiere on June 16, 2024, on both HBO and HBO Max. The news was officially announced by Warner Bros. Discovery streaming and gaming boss JB.
Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, each airing weekly on Sundays. The eight-episode arc will commence in mid-June and conclude in early August, following a similar release schedule to Season 1.
House of the Dragon is a prequel to the beloved Game of Thrones series, set 200 years before the events of the original show. The series follows the Targaryen family, the ruling house of Westeros, as they navigate the treacherous political landscape and the looming threat of civil war.
